TCM considers human body as a unity of QI, XING and SHEN. The diagnostic processof TCM distinguishes itself by “observation，auscultation and olfaction, inquiry and pulsediagnosis”. TCM uses traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and many other treatmentmeans to make human body be harmony between YIN and YANG. The concepts of YIN-YANGand WU XING laid a theoretical foundation for TCM. WU XING refers to five basic substancesin the nature, that is, metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
