　　1.修身、齐家、治国、平天下:“修身”即“修身养性”，"齐家”即“管理好家族”，“治国”即“治理好邦国”，“平天下”即“平定天下”。简单地说，这句古训意为“修养身心，而后才能治理好家族、邦国和天下”，故译为Cultivate the mind and then regulate the family, state and world,其中的“国”并不是现代意义上的国家，而是指“诸侯国”、“邦国”，故译为state。
